The LaSalle fencing ladder goes into championship mode this month. Here are the rules:

• The top 8 fencers on each ladder at the end of July are eligible
• Bouts are direct elimination in a normal tableau of 8
• Bouts will continue to be fought in challenge-type format
• Your challenges are automatic and predetermined by the tableau
• All outstanding red cards are cleared on Aug 1
• New red cards will be given if one fencer is not present when the other is
