The LaSalle Fencing Club began in 1998 as a high-performance foil
fencing club, and soon dominated the provincial foil scene, becoming
home to the winners of over 20 provincial foil championships.
In 2002 we expanded our programs to include épée, and we now have
several épée provincial championships and western Canadian
championships to add to our honours.
We meet five times weekly at our salle in East Vancouver, with beginner, intermediate, and advanced fencing programs
for both children and adults. Our competitive fencers participate
in tournaments all over North America and the world, and are not too
bad at bringing home the glory. Our coaches are active competitors, and divide their time evenly between training our fencers, and training themselves.
